Great place for Breakfast and food. Little pricey. Not so great on service.

friendly, warm place to catch a bite before moving on. in a town of restaurants with quirky names like Cadillac Wok and Nacho Mama, Eel River Café shows its colors indoors with an excess of cow memorabilia and a huge painting enthroning a cow-frog mutant they've crowned "bull frog". alas I had beef with my dry burger, udder-wise this place would have been moosic to my ears

Nice little local diner, with several vegetarian options. My hash browns, surprisingly, came as a frozen rectangle. My coffee was ok, not good. My vegetable scramble was bland. For the price, I would not opt to try again.

Driving through on 101, my buddy and I stopped for one of the best breakfasts I've had in years! I asked for a variation of one of their standard egg and ham scrambles, and the chef hit it out of the park. Service was friendly, the waitress screwed up my order a bit, but was happy to make it right.
