We have been using Eglin Hospital since I retired over 20 years ago. In that time, I've been to civilian hospitals and Eglin many times. Eglin is still my preferred choice. The staff - doctors, nurses, and techs - are consistently the most caring and courteous I've encountered. They are very persistent in tracking down the root of whatever medical issue you are having. In the process, they sometimes identify issues you didn't know you had and which were unrelated to your original visit. They have received awards and deserve every one of them.

Eglin is one of the best examples of military healthcare services. It has a few problems with long waits for labs or pharmacy but overall the care is excellent, the ER is fast, and the staff is professional.

They will schedule appointments without you knowing and cencell appointment you have set and were waiting for.
