Nice place for quick access to the mountain bike trail near the Savannah River Rapids Pavilion. Recent presence of uniformed officers is nice and reassuring to help minimize any vehicle break ins, not that we have seen or heard of any. Usually it is a pretty quiet place with only a handful of people there.

Easy to find, plenty of parking, and easy access to the Canal trail in both directions (towards Head Locks and towards Lake Olmstead).

Small and quaint park with adequate parking. A good place to practice softball or just toss the ball around. Extremely small play area can accommodate toddlers but 5-10 year-olds may get bored with it quickly (ex. No swings or jungle gym, short sliding board) This seems to be one of Richmond County's forgotten parks in terms of children's activities but if you're just looking for a grassy space to go and take your kids, bring some entertainment alternatives.

Good play place for little kids. Train stops on tracks near by, can get stuck for 25+ minutes waiting to get out of park. Decent baseball fields.
