Great place for quick serve, authentic lunch & dinner items that are delicious & at a fair price.  There's table side service in their dining room if you prefer that setting.  Awesome deli with many fresh salsa options along with food items to heat & eat.  Extensive bakery offerings, meat counter, grocery store and collectables.  I never leave without picking up some heat & eat tamales from the fridge section near the bakery & quick serve food area.  Their tamales are the best around!

You know when you are in the midst of a Minnesota winter and are looking for a taste of Mexico this is the place. The service and selection are great. The best part is the bar and restaurant. I hesitate to mention that because I don't want it to be more crowded. Let's just say that if you want the best Mexican food and great drinks this is the place.

They have it all!  The lunch buffet is always great and they keep refreshing everything all the way up to the closing time. The Sunday brunch looks amazing but I've yet to go. 

The grocery store has to be the best in the region. You can get grab and go meals or all the fresh ingredients to make it yourself. I just bought a really nice basket and towel for keeping tortillas warm. Check that off the Christmas list. 

Everyone I've ever dealt with has been friendly and helpful. These people are superstars!

They do a good job. People there were very friendly. I am not a choosy eater. I love to learn about other cultures and the food that is enjoyed by the people of that culture. I usually challenge myself to try different foods. This  just doesn't fit with my preference but I'll give it another shot next time.

I really enjoyed this restaurant, if there is a more authentic Mexican restaurant in the twin cities I'd love to here about it.  I had the lunch buffet.  All the different varieties of food and sauces where extremely good.  I could only imagine that a sit-down meal here would that much better than buffet style (what food in a buffet doesn't get a little dried out at the end if the lunch hour?).  The decor is older and on the shabby side, however for me, this gave it the authentic feel that I mentioned before.  It was almost like being back in Quintana Roo, an off the beaten path lesser known vacation city in Mexico on the Gulf of Mexico.  The only reason that I'm not rating it 5 stars is that we had 2 lengthy waits on getting our drinks refilled (this was at the end of the lunch hour when it wasn't overly busy).  Otherwise our service was friendly and courteous.
