I had lunch there on 01/22/2018 and 01/23/2018 and both lunches were impeccable. The staff was outgoing, helpful, and friendly. Gray Duck Tavern is definitely a “find” and one of my new “go-to” venues. I wish it all success and I hope it will grace St. Paul’s culinary landscape for many years to come!

We actually had our honeymoon dinner here. Respects were shown by the head chef coming to our table to congratulate us and bring the best meat tray we have had, anywhere. Our server was impressively knowledgeable about the menu and drink selections. If you feel like treating yourself, this is a highly recommended place.

Nice happy hour specials (and really cheap beers!). Wings were great, pretzel was good but pretzel dip could be better. We were discussing business, and it was quiet enough for us to do so, but it is a pretty loud place. Would definitely return, though!

I had an overall very enjoyable experience at Gray Duck Tavern. I went there to meet a couple of friends for drinks and dinner. The service was friendly and there was no wait. Our drinks came up right away, as did our food, which was excellent! We split the medium size rosemary french fries, which were great and the medium size was plenty for 4 people. The ambiance was nice, it had TVs playing but was a definite step up from sports pubs/bars. It was lively without being too noisy. I'll definitely go again!

Gotta give this one just an okay. The meal started out REALLY promising as the starter, snacks, soup and salad we had were all good. The deviled duck egg was particularly good. However, the entree and cut meats really left something to be desired. Couple that with the fact our waiter/bartender recommended our least favorite dishes, I have to just give the gray duck 3 stars. Also their cocktail menu was under whelming. Their house made tonic made the gin and tonic taste like a margaretta... Not bad... Just not a gin and tonic either...
