I ordered the an alpastor burrito with pineapple,, and a california burrito and it was pretty good. Clean place with no lines and competitive prices.
My first time trying caldo de res and was very good full of veggies and meat hand made tortillas from the factory i love it
Food was great, service was exceptional and prices were reasonable
Very disappointed. Over priced. Poor customer service. Unprofessional. Burritos 7.25 ech ...Was given 3 small salsa containers for 6 burritos. When asked for more salsa, was told I would have to pay extra. Got home to find out that the burritos were a sloppy soggy mess, and they didnt provide the limones that I requested for my barbacoa. Retured all burritos, and requested refund. Owners became argumentive, irate, and vulgar. Accepted return, but refused to refund my $48 that they charged me for 6 burritos.
I'm very disappointed. I drove up and they told me the menudo was $ 7 + . when I got to the window the guy tells me $10 dollars plus. I just checked my disability debit card and they charged me $16 + ! That's totally wrong. And I even gave the jerk a generous cash tip! I'm going to call the owner tomorrow. The worker obviously wrote in a tip. I'll file charges. How sad.
The food is good although sometimes the food is a little salty. They have a special of the day which is cheaper. Prices are comparable to other places mostly between $8 to $9. The drive thru is in the back if you're in a hurry.
I ordered the red chile meat and the meat was hard like it was a week old. The chile flavor was good though. Beans tasted like they came out of a can. Rice was ok. I was hoping for a better turn out.
Homemade Mexican cuisine on a budget. Best kept secret in Las Cruces...my Hispanic friends grilled the staff on authenticity and then we all dove into the mole enchiladas, barbacoa tacos and tangy hot salsas. Delicious!
No salsa or fixins? I ordered the family pack of Barbacoa. Everyone knows you have to have onions, cilantro and salsa. I didn't get any of those. Will never order from this place again. El Norteno dropped the ball big time.
Nice staff but service was pretty slow even with only a few people in the restaurant. We didn't particularly love the flavors so we wouldn't order the same things again.
