Story

While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco's commitment to fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way - on our signature open-flame grills - then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. Excellent location to grab a quick bite.

Another Pollo Loco with outstanding service. This is also another location I've been going to for many years. Service has always been outstanding, and today was no exception. Have never had a bad visit here.

So whoever manages this location (as well as the ones with employees with super customer service skills), should be applauded. Not that good customer service is hard to find at the various Pollo Loco restaurants, IMO, the employees here are exceptional.

Another plus is its always clean and the food is cooked exactly the way it should. Today, I ordered the chicken tostada salad with double chicken and cilantro dressing. Absolutely delicious! Try it.

Food was good.

Customer service was good.

During the week on a Tuesday night... 

Restaurant was not as clean as It should have been, considering there was very little customers.

Don't think I'd come back to this one.

For the location being South Pasadena, I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the place.

We sat to eat at a table. It was sticky with soda, and there was chip or tostada crumbs on the floor.

Convenient location in a street mall on Fair Oaks Avenue. Plenty of parking spaces. The place is small but it has big windows which makes the ambiance nicer. They take their time to take your order. It's better to order online or with the app to save time. Chicken is a bit overcooked sometimes.

When busy, expect your meal to get messed up some way.  Wrong order, wrong ingredients. When light,  great food
