Good food, delicious soup, friendly efficient wait staff. Quiet, good place to meet, eat and visit. Free parking, wheelchair accessible. Clean, somewhat low lighting. Easy to see in normal traffic. Recommended.

Shakers is one of my favorite places to get a great crispy Belgium Waffle. Wish they'd serve more than one with the waffle sandwich serving. The Avocado, bacon and cheese omelet is also delicious. If you like zucchini bread, it's made fresh every day, I buy it to serve at home.

I love this place! Always fantastic food and great service in a comfy family coffee shop setting. The salads are terrific, the chili it's tasty, entrees always just the way you want them, it's really great. My only qualm ours that yet used to make old-fashioned green bean casserole just like my Mom's and they stopped. Other than that, it's delicious. They changed the one in Glendale to something else, sadly. I hope they keep Shakers around!

Got take out, which is always odd for diner employees to deal with. I should be surprised they forgot the utensils and napkins. Foodwise, top marks for dinner fare. Should have asked for cheese on the tuna melt (presumed it would be there - otherwise, what melts?), but burger was solid and chicken pot pie special was fine.

I've been coming to Shakers for ten years, and also have had the same waitress for ten years. Every time I come here, I have a wonderful experience. The food is good, the waitress is nice and attentive, and the restaurant is great. Thank you, Nancy! Here's to another ten years!
