Mission

The Electrical Connection is your doorway to Eastern Missouri’s finest team of reliable electricians and quality electrical contractors. The Electrical Connection combines the capabilities, resources and commitment of the St. Louis Chapter, National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local One to offer the ultimate in value and safety to you – whether for your home, business, facility or plant. We give you access to more than 100 licensed electrical contractors and 2,500-plus thoroughly trained electricians and communication technicians.

Extra Protection - and It's FREE

The free +5 Plan is a special quality electric protection program offered exclusively by the Electrical Connection. It covers residential wiring systems in new homes built by IBEW Local One and affiliated contractors. +5 grants the original homebuyer five extra years of freedom from homeowners electrical wiring maintenance costs. The protection extends above and beyond the builder’s one-year electrical wiring warranty and the added year of protection offered by the Home Owners Warranty (HOW) program. Homeowners Protection


To tap into this exceptional quality guarantee, homebuyers just need to:

1) Buy a new home from a homebuilder who buys electrical contracting services from an IBEW union electrical contractor within the area served by IBEW Local One, and

2) Within 30 days of closing, complete and mail a simple registration form provided by your builder at time of closing. The form is also available by emailing your name, address and phone number with builder name, subdivision and closing date to [email protected] or by calling 314 781-0755 (toll-free 866 255-7594).
