Story

From the candlelit brick walls of the Mezzanine, to the soaring ceilings of the Main Room, down to the Romanesque archways of the Vault, Element is one of the most stunning venues in New York City. This tri-level nightlife playground is a marvel of form and function, featuring three full-service bars, a VIP mezzanine, and seductive lounge spaces.

The main floor is crafted for a single purpose - dancing! On Element's vast hardwood dance floor, crystal clear tones flow from a monster 36,000 Watt, world-class sound system, transforming even the most timid soul into a frenzied exhibitionist.

Built originally as a bank in the late 19th century, this structure has been home and studio to famous artist, Jasper Johns; a legendary Goth Club; a Hip-Hop Danceateria; and a seedy strip joint. Following extensive restoration and infrastructure upgrades, it is now home to Element, the new standard in nightlife luxury. Element embodies New York City – it is global, stylish, chic and sexy with a rich sense of history. Come experience the magic of this beautiful venue for yourself. I visited The Vault (the lower level lounge/club that is separate from Element), and had a good time. The atmosphere is more intimate and less crowded. Grab a table and sit with a group - each table has its own sectioned off space, with enough room for dancing and privacy amongst your friends, but its sectioned barriers still create visibility through to the other table sections and rest of the lounge as well. For dance floor action, make your way towards the back and get your boogie on. Overall, a great time.

I like the Vault its much more interesting than Element. Looks like they renovated the place for the worse. It was so much people down there in November it was "Scorpio bash" ... First they charged me for 20.00 to get in. I'm in the LES. Why am I paying Twenty greenback?. That's last place I am ever paying for.!! I love Reggae, i like it alot Dance hall, but it was just too many people on top of eachother. Everyone was gyration and moving their hips. It was all big guys. I would walk by and boom. Damn, I almost lost my balance. Most people in there were either from Brooklyn or NJ. (trust me I know) . After the guy sitting next to me passed out with vomit seeping out of his throat. Next, the DJ had to stop the music. Why?... because the dancing crowd turned into Min-Porn with a young lady on the floor and alot alot of Ass cheeks and such showing ..This was My exit Thanks Element......your truly....PS give me back my $20.00 please. I could have put that money and brought maybe 2 Starbucks Coffees

I did the bottle service last night ( Friday). It took almost 25 mins to get inside. Once we finally got seated the drinks took 10 mins to get to my section. The Host was very apologetic but I expected quicker service for VIP.
