Great food! Such an extensive menu it was challenging to decide what to order. We were there on a Sunday evening and children eat free which is pretty great. We will definitely go back to try more of the special and unique dishes. I recommend the burger with duck bacon!
We were in town for the night on business and wanted a place for some comfort food. We found it! The pastas we great! The chipotle and the Cajun were both delicious. And a great atmosphere with music from our time ‘80s & ‘90s. The shrimp appetizer was great too.
First time at Elgin Public House but it won't be my last. Great pub and comfort food. We had cheese curds and the Mac Attack burger that had mac and cheese and pork belly on a burger! So good! We tried the caramel apple bread pudding in a skillet but wasn't a fan. Thankfully, the waiter noticed and took it off our bill. Also got to watch the playoffs on several televsions while we ate. Big thumbs up!
The service was great. It was the end of the night, but she just needed to slow down a little bit. The sandwich/burgers were delicious, the sides were good. I was excited to try the Mac and cheese as the side because it was the special for the night, but glad I got the fiesta chicken sandwich! Overall, it was a great stop!!
I love coming here! The bar/restaurant is clean, well kept and has a friendly atmosphere. The staff is always super friendly. The menu has mots of vegetarian options. A must stop when I'm in the area!Food: 5/5
Best black bean burger I’ve ever had !!! Vegan and bun is coated with Spicy hummus it’s a must. Loved the pub fries wish i ordered more: The burger also came with tortilla chips that had alot of favor I thought that was unique. Highly recommend and i will be seeing yall again!

I worked at this place when they first opened their doors, and it was an Amazing place back then! Not only have they survived the test of time, but they have the best food around! The menu is so diverse that it will cater to even the pickiest eater or the connoisseur of fine dining. The epitome of pub atmosphere, and the decadence of flavor of a high-end restaurant. Awesome place for family, friends, or a date. Always will this place be 5 stars! They adapt with the time, create lasting memories with your experience, and keep coming back for more. Paid a lot of money for supposedly dinner worthy salads. My moms spinach salad had a few measly bits of toppings on it and just hunks of spinach. I have celiac and don’t expect that there won’t be cross contamination but when I ask for my salad to be gluten free with no croutons I don’t think that’s that hard to do. I was in a rush when I picked up my food and didn’t double check. Sure enough my salad had huge slices of bread on it. I can’t just pick that off and be ok. And yes my receipt very clearly says gluten free. I will never go back here again.
