Story

Elk Brewing: Comstock Park is the second brewpub for Elk Brewing. We held our Grand Opening on September 15, 2016, Elk Brewing: Comstock Park will house the brewery's new 15-barrel brewing system, bottling line, a full kitchen and 20 taps which will include Elk Brews, Michigan Ciders and eventually Michigan Wine.

We toured all of the breweries around Grand Rapids and came to Elk with relatively low expectations. This place surprised us however. We loved every single beer we tried (even the PB&J which we were skeptical about) and the food was good. This new building looks very nice up on the hill and I love the open air restaurant on a nice day. Our favorite beers were probably the gose's but it's hard to pick.

Nicole was awesome. She made it a great experience. I got to try a few of their very flavorful beers and settled on their Raspberry Porter which is delicious like a chocolate covered raspberry for adults. Yum! Also enjoyed the Black & Bleu burger. Spring for the sweet potato fries. They are great!!

Dankalicious IS the best IPA in GR. I've had them all. The best Brewery in the GR area. Excellent beers. Even better service. Our waitress was Megan was awesome!!

Good food, a very good rotating selection of beer. Their mug club is a great value. Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend this brewery.

Zack is great he interacted with everyone at the bar, made great conversation and no-one felt neglected. They had several other bartenders but he stood out! described drinks and made some great suggestions! He's an asset to the team. I enjoyed the beer I will come back.
