We planned to stay for 3 days but our timing was bad. Their water was brown during our stay. A nice thing was the Wifi was free! For the first 20 minutes and only located at the parking lot near their office. Their Manager said the water was safe to use and it made me think that the water gets contaminated regularly.

The facilities here were adequate but viewing the Elk that wandered thru the park each day made this one of our most memorable stops along the coast. The staff was very friendly and helpful about the surrounding area. We would recommend this park and would stay here again if in the area.

The pros: It's close to Redwoods NP Close to the ocean There are wild elk there Owners were friendly The banana slugs are cool It was relatively quiet There are blackberries The cons: Super tiny campsites Showers had FOOD and hair in them Bathrooms are dirty and need daily attention There are about 200 rules including to picking blackberries, no hanging hammocks, and no showers after 10pm It's not worth avoiding, but be forewarned of what to expect.
