We had to put our bird dog to sleep. Elko vet made the sad time a little easier. They treated our dog with respect and even gave our dog her own little box with flowers so we could take her home to be buried. A few days later we received a special gift in the mail to help remember our dog Shottie.

Although a little on the expensive side, relative to MT (don't know about other local vet clinic's pricing), well worth it for the knowledge, care, and attention my cat and I experienced. Definitely my new vet for my cats and dogs. Recommend!

I'm so very disappointed & disgusted with Elko Vet. My chichua/weinie had 2 siezures, one right after the other, then I thought he was having a stroke. Elko vet was closest vet. So I rushed him down to them. I walked in the door at 4:53 pm. I'm not sure bout rest of you but when I went to school this was 7 minutes to 5, which the vet closes at 5. Some blonde gal came and put us in the end room. She asked what his symptoms were, I told her. She still never, ever laid a hand on him. She said that they might have to draw blood. i then told her that I couldn't afford a bunch of things at that time. She then said that she would go talk to the doctor about it. She came back into the room. I could see a piece of paper in her hand. It was an estimate for exam, blood work, then they charged me a after hours fee. The estimate was for $453.00, I told her again I didn't have it right then I got paid in a week. Still NO one touched or weighed my dog at all. The blonde gal just looked at me & shrugged her shoulders. My little guy had his arms straight out & foaming at the mouth. So I picked him up & left. A couple weeks later my dog was hardly breathing, called elko vet to see if they could get him in, the lady that answered the phone said they couldn't see him because I owed $453.00. I asked for what? She said cuz the last time I walked out without paying. I told her I don't owe u anything NOBODY did anything to him. She said we took him back into a room & looked him we then did an estimate for u. I told her I don't owe u anything, nobody looked or never even touched my dog, I said I don't owe u anything!!!!! Elko veterinary clinic rip people off. They don't care bout ur animal it's all bout $$$ so sad that vets like this exists. I'll do what I can to make sure people know how u treated me & my precious baby. Elko vet clinic U should b ashamed

Very happy! Not even a normal customer but they still got my loved dog in immediately and stayed late to take care of him and then met me there on a Sunday to bring him home! He wouldn’t be here had it not been for them!
