Dr. Elliot is the BEST! I spent a lot of time looking for a holistic vet, and when I finally found Dr. Elliot, it was a life-changing event. My rescued dog Penny was ridden with worms, pneumonia, skin rash and incontinence. Jill never pushed surgery or drugs as first line of treatment. Instead, we had a holistic/Homeopathy consultation and came up with a treatment plan. Penny is now a healthy and vibrant 13-year-old and still going strong. Dr. Elliot truly cares about your pets and you. Her office fees are very reasonable, and Homeopathic medicine is usually inexpensive and effective. She is the best-kept secret of NYC! Four thumbs and four paws way, way up for Dr. Jill Elliot.

My dog and I'd visit to Dr. Elliot was for an inflamed 3rd eyelid issue we'd attempted to treat with conventional medicine to no avail. Dr. Elliot did not give a full exam including looking in his ears and inspecting his anal glands. She became very concerned about his uneasiness in her office. I explained that he cowers in the corner at all vets we'd been to. This was similar behavior as he exhibits during storms, but he's very calm. Ultimately she recommended a remedy for his skin and to calm him down. Let me tell you, this dog does not need to be more calm. Upon giving him the remedy he was extremely subdued, but a skin tag/dog zit did disappear. No change whatsoever with the eyes. I was wildly offended by her attempt to sell me products including dog a dog toothbrush at $8, dog toothpaste at over $20 and natural flea/tick repellent at approx. $20. When I came out of the exam room, these items were waiting for me on the counter and rung up with my bill which totaled over $500. I protested. While I don't discredit homeopathy, Dr. Elliot is not a veterinarian to which I will return.

Very Happy. I like to say I totally disagree with Aly-shock. I have used Dr. Jill Elliot for a couple of years no for my 15 year old Maltese and I have been recommended/and used both holistic and traditional medication depending the illnesses of my dog. I changed to Dr. Jill Elliot because when I went to a traditional vet they wanted to do all kind of very expensive surgeries that I know from other dog-owners often result in death when ur dog is as old as mine, while Dr. Jill Elliot uses methods to strenghten my dog over-all health so she get less sick and live a day-to-day better life. I feel blessed that I found her for my little 8 pounds baby, Odin, a Maltese that was born in a puppy-mill and wasn't to strong to begin with., but always cute and lovely :)
