What a great breakfast place! We got 3 skillets - 2 steak and one veggie. The bottom layer is hash browns, steak or veggies, and eggs your way. Comes with toast or pancakes - we got pancakes. Everything is so fresh, staff is so friendly and honestly the best place I’ve been to in a long time. All praises to the team!
Service: Extensive Menu with generic and unique items. Waiter was attentive and made sure we were okay often. Nice, clean area. Food: Food was good brunch material. We were hungry so it was fulfilling but for the menu names and all that I was expecting it to be really really good, it was just alright.
The service here was great. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Even though they were very busy we did not have to wait long for our order. The s’mores pancakes were amazing. They were more like dessert than breakfast, but I don’t care. I would totally get them again. The warmed marshmallow fluff and Oreo bits were delicious. I would definitely return here for another great meal.
Great place! Food is great, service too. Friendly, comfortable and extremely clean. A must when in the area. Came back a second time while staying in the area. Must try the avocado toast. They are hardworking, care about the food quality and presentation. I wish they were in my area back home.
I went for the first time this Saturday morning around 10 am. We had a nice waitress and it help that my friend goes there a lot for me to choose what I wanted to eat. I had some coffee, soup, and the chicken and bacon waffle. The waffle are made with bacon and cut into 4. It comes with 2 extra strips of bacon and 2 like chicken tenders. The chicken was alright I felt like it was a bit over cooked and a bit dry. The bacon was crispy just like it should be. The chicken noodle soup was salty. Hopefully the cooks try it next time they serve it. Good flavor just salty. That's why I rated a 4 stars. Thanks Hopefully next time it's better. Parking: Big parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: The handicap parking is right near the restaurant. And they got plenty of tables on the lower side of the restaurant.
Went to Elly's Glenview pancake house. Ordered with my family and lots of delicious and appetizing items from the new menu. They cooked every delicious items i took perfectly the way i want it, was very perfect place for breakfast! Highly recommended
This was my first time at Elly's and I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to try first. I ended up ordering the Cherry Almond waffle and it was definitely a good first choice. My friend ordered the Love Potion french toast which I tasted - it was rich but good. I think the prices are pretty good for the food, and I would eat here again.
This is the first time that we stopped at this restaurant. The food was very good. I ordered a Denver Omelet and it was a bit salty but it was very tasty so I did not mind a bit too much salt. I strongly recomend this place. Nice looking restaurant, very nice staff and tasty food.
Visited 08/08/21, Sunday, pretty busy. Been to the Chicago location so I'm familiar with this establishment and enjoyed the service and food there. We ordered the skirt steak and eggs with pancakes. Everything except the steak was good. My steak as well as my friend's were way too salty had to drink additional glasses of water just to finish it as we don't like returning food or having it redone. When asked how everything was while paying my bill, I mentioned it. The poor young lady had the manager or owner right next to her and she relayed the message. Female manager or owner never looked at me or the young lady but instead at her menus and said it was the seasoning. Well duh?!? Wasn't quite the reply I was expecting. How about I'm sorry and we'll take that into consideration next time on the amount of marinade or seasoning. Hopefully patrons will pipe up about the "over seasoning" sooner than just being silent and dealing with it as this doesn't benefit either the customer or business. I wasn't expecting a freebie or a coupon for my next visit, just a little acknowledgement that the steak could really be too salty for most palettes. Maybe she and a few workers should share a steak. Hopefully it was just my batch of steaks and not the norm as I see others enjoy their steaks. Lastly, the cashier/ young host and our server were very professional and polite.
We loved our first visit to Elly's. Appears to be a family run place, with the owner/chef knowing and conversing with a lot of regulars when we went. We enjoyed the food, good serving sizes and delish. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options, but note that these include egg so not vegan
