Lovely pub-style restaurant with a good selection of beers and whiskey / bourbon. They had non-alcoholic beer on the menu which is a big plus. We had the 3 alarm burger and the pulled pork sandwich. The burger was fantastic according to my friend - he said it was a game changer in fact. The medium rare came out perfect, very tasty and juicy. The pulled pork sandwich was also great, loved the sweetness of the bbq sauce and the crispy onion rings. Best to book a table on busier nights to avoid long wait times.
We stopped here for a late lunch after climbing at Funtopia at the other end of the shopping center. They didn't check vaccine cards at the door, but the servers were masked and they seemed to space out tables fairly well. I had the salmon sandwich, while my friend ordered the salmon salad. I would order the salad next time because he said the salmon was really good, but in the sandwich it was hard to taste everything between the salmon, the bacon, the avocado and the sauce they had on it. Not to be misunderstood, the sandwich was good, but if you want to taste the salmon, go for the salad. The kids had mac n' cheese, which they finished without delay. My friend's kid had the cheeseburger, and ordered a side of broccoli instead of fries; they said the broccoli was not very fresh though and didn't care for it. We had time for dessert -- apple pie and bread pudding -- and my friend convinced me to have a cup of their coffee just by drinking a mug of it in front of me. Everything tasted great -- except for that broccoli I guess. Their fries are awesome, so I recommend those as your side!
This is a Freedom loving place , the decor is beautiful with natural wood throughout that gives an irish pub feel of cozy and warm. The vibe and energy is upbeat. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp which was cooked perfectly and the rice was delicious. The cornbread was amazing. I will be back to try some of the main dishes. There is a parking garage near as street parking is limited.
We stopped in for a quick bite with 3 kids because it was nearby. I was anticipating pretty decent food but it was better than I expected. The fried pickles and loaded tater tots were very good. The kids menu is very affordable and the portion size is pretty big. Service from the hostess to the waitress and busboy/food server was excellent.
The food tasted pretty good. Our selections weren’t the healthiest so felt a bit heavy after a few bites. Someone in our party said it is high end bar food… I agree.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
A nice pub type restaurant with a selection of steaks, burgers, and sandwiches to choose from. The food was good and there were plenty of beers on tap to choose from. I was in the area on business and saw this place.. Its solid, but missing that little something that would put it over the edge into awesomeness. The beer selection was decent but lacking variety, and the mixed drinks were ok as well. One thing I did find interesting was the fried pickle on a stick. A little hard to eat but nice to look at. I got the tacos as it was Tuesday and on special. Once again pretty solid except for the fish ones. I would probably not come back, but if I was already in the area wouldn't mind stopping in.
We hosted a happy hour for a few of our offices here yesterday and it was the easiest, most pleasant experience I have ever had while planning a private event. Rich and his team were so accommodating and kind. They were communicative before and throughout the event and made sure everyone was on the same page and having a great time. I appreciated the check-ins throughout the event as him and his staff were always around. We were assigned Kate and Emma as our servers who were total rockstars the entire time! They were juggling all 40 of us with such ease; it was amazing! We decided on the party appetizer package which was so much more than I could have ever expected for an extremely great price. We decided to ask for a salad bar in addition to the appetizer package. They were super flexible with us and were able to accommodate every request. In addition, we were able to up our bar budget at any point which was very helpful for the crowd we had. Our guests were raving about the all the food the whole time-- so thank you to the kitchen! Rich even had a few surprises up his sleeve including an amazing dessert which was a hit! I would highly recommend Oak at The Glen for any private party. I hope we can host another event there soon. Thank you, Rich and team!!
Food was excellent, a little more then the average burger price point, but well worth the delicious food. Didn't try a drink as I'm breastfeeding, but we loved the appetizers and burgers. The waitress was also excellent, what ever she is getting paid she likely should get more as she handled a lot of tables, but had every order correct, we didn't wait long for anything, and stayed on top of our drink refills.
Food was awful. Turkey burger was grey, unappealing and flavorless similar to the fries. The salads either had too much dressing or barely enough, and the seared tuna was still FROZEN on top of my salad. It's not hard to sear a tuna, and if it's supposed to be the hallmark of the salad, it shouldn't come out still frozen sitting atop the salad. It tasted like nothing because it was pre-cooked, so the 'Cajun style' seasoning hadn't even had a chance to warm up to room temperature. I should've seen the red flag because the food for our group came out *way* too fast. The menu items sounded like they were trying to shoot outside the box and offer some interesting options, but I wouldn't trust it. Very few vegetarian options. The service was fine, the waitress was nice enough and they were able to accommodate our group. There is a revolving door and an unmarked regular swing open door to the East of the revolving door. I didn't see an accessibility button to help open the door. Won't be returning, do not recommend.
