Reviews

Nice, newer hotel in great location.  Very clean and hotel staff is friendly.  Breakfast selection is great.  The evening reception is a big disappointment.  Staff is mostly absent and they only had a few pretzels and chips.  Ruth's Chris runs the food service and it seems that they are trying to drive people to the restaurant by providing poor service for guests in the evening.   Even saw one Ruth's Chris staff member making his own drink in his used cup behind the bar.  
The rooftop restaurant is nice, just a little noisy.  
The view of the Reedy River is excellent and very close to other shops and restaurants.  
Chose not to eat at Ruth's Chris after seeing the behavior of the staff.

Deceit and Disappointment!   My husband wanted to surprise me for my birthday this past Saturday by booking a 2 room balcony suite with a river walk view at this hotel.  This was our first time staying there.  He made the reservation 3 weeks prior to our stay.  We also had dinner reservations at one of our favorite restaurants downtown.  He checked in online the day before and was given the option to select our room which he did.
We arrived an hour before our dinner reservation to check in.  At the front desk my husband gave the attendant our information and told him that he checked in online the day before and gave him the room number that he selected.  The attendant gave us our room keys and the room number was not the one that my husband selected the day before online.  The attendant never said anything to us about the room being a different 
one.
We went to the room and it was a normal room with a balcony view of the intersection.  We left the room and went back to the front desk and told the attendant that was not the room we reserved.  Obviously he already knew that!  He asked us to wait a minute and went to get the front desk manager.  The front desk manager came out and I told her that it was my birthday and we had a dinner reservation soon so we were in a hurry.  I told her that was not the room that my husband reserved, selected, and paid for.  She lied and told me that the room we reserved had a "maintenance" issue and the room that they gave us was the only room with a balcony that they had left.  I told her that the "maintenance" issue was that they gave our room to someone else.  She said nothing.  We had no choice but to take the room at that point.
It was a huge disappointment for me and especially my husband and we were furious that she lied to us!
The next morning my husband saw someone sitting on the balcony of the room that he had reserved for us!  We will never go there again!

Beautiful hotel with beautiful views! Anytime we encountered the staff they were very friendly! Our room was very clean and neat! We would love to stay here again! Maybe next time we’ll bring the kids. They’d love this place!

This Embassy is such a great location to enjoy the Greenville downtown area and Falls Park. The hotel is centrally located to everything and all the walking paths make it easy to amble and enjoy the day and night life. The complementary breakfast was top notch with bacon, omelets, fruit, and so on. I didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool but it looked like a lot of fun, I'll have to be back.

Beautiful hotel. Loved the location. Pool was warm enough and comfortable. Bartenders and front desk attendants are attentive and friendly. The food and service at up on the roof is ok, at best. Music is extremely loud and blaring on the weekends. I'd highly suggest eating at places out in Downtown. Room Service was  a main problem. Couldn't get it but 1 of the 5 days we were there, and that hotel having room service was one main reason we paid as much to stay at that hotel. Liked the hotel but for the price and problems, inconveniences,  wouldn't pay that much to stay there again.
