Rooms are very dated and the beds are not comfortable. They are currently renovating the common areas -- I hope they quickly move on to the rooms where you'll spend the most time! Also they did not have AC in the winter, but they still need it. Our room was too hot, even with 2 fans on the 9th floor, to sleep comfortably. Regardless of the temp outside they managed to keep it a steamy 78+ in the room. The trip was a blast, until you had to come back to the room.

We stayed one night here while in the twin cities. Once we arrived at the hotel we were bummed to find out it was under construction. The courtyard was completely covered and the pool was under construction. Our room was set at 72 when we arrived which felt really hot. We turned it down to 65 but it didn't seem to cool fast enough. Would have liked to know about construction ahead of time for what we paid.

Horrible experience.  Under construction.  The lobby was a small sheet-rocked area with noisy construction.  No pool, no open central area, all were torn completely up and there were construction workers everywhere, jack-hammer noise all waking hours.  No pillows for the sofa sleeper, called and never got them, my husband went to the desk to inquire in person and they looked at him like he was speaking alien.  
No warning of the situation or price-cut.  Coffee shop not open  at 8 am on a  Friday morning.  Breakfast was in a conference room.  rooms are in sad shape, I understand they are under construction and will some day be very nice again,  but it will be about a year before I dare go back if at all.    I will be taking my complaints further.

I understand the renovation construction that was ongoing. But the hotel was like a sauna. Room was unbearably hot with no working air or fan. Left the sliding balcony door open, the crack it would allow, all night. Bright spot was the French onion soup at the restaurant, the breakfast and the catered lunches at our workshop. Rest of pricy dinner was bland.  Hoping it improves after renovation.

Cancelled a multi night stay on March 9 after walking in to find that the lobby/atrium and pool areas were under construction.  Stayed there before and liked the hotel, but we feel that it is bad business to not tell customers that construction has eliminated the use of ammenties.  The whole purpose of the trip was for the kids to have fun in the pool.  Will probably stay there again in the future, but if you are looking to stay there in 2018, call first to see if the construction is done.
