I just started to rent at park embassy. It's a great place! I'm 25 years old and loved this area. Steve is the property manager he made sure that I got everything I wanted for my upcoming enrollment. Brand new furniture and appliances, wooden floor and brand new carpet! And all that for a great price. I love this place. The people living around are respectful and nice. I made an emergency call at 5 am and Steve was there to answer my questions ASAP and reassured me. The operation crew are hard working people and always greet you with a smile. I did my research and park embassy is the best bang for the buck in St-Louis park/Up town area. It's located right next to a few beautiful lakes and summer over here is super hot! This place went down hill with the new manager. The place is quite noisy all the time. Cops seem to be at the complex a couple times a month. The parking lot can get very full as parking rules are not enforced. The 'amenities' are a joke. Laundry facilities are old, don't do a good job, and cost almost the same as a laundromat. Shower temp changes drastically every minute or two. AC unit is not enough to keep up. Extremely dry in the winter. Renovations took forever to be finished. Packages are left in publicly accessible areas. The price is now way too high for what you get. Other complexes offer more amenities and features for about the same cost. Just don't rent here, its not worth it, trust me.

Objective review coming in! To be frank, this place is great for the price tag. No this isn't the brand new luxury high rise that charges you your annual salary every month. That said, this place matches the price tag very well. Not only are you near Uptown, Calhoun and Starbucks, you have a park, pool and hot tub right on site! The management has been exceptional throughout my approximately 5 (yikes) years living here. The management and apartment aesthetic have got better over the years. If you are communicative with the staff, they are very happy to help. I have had radiator issues, shower leakage (hard water in SLP), vehicle issues and issues with noise regarding other tenants. In each of those situations I alerted management as soon as I could and they were prompt to address the issue and even followed up to ensure my satisfaction. Please note that the owners have proven to be frugal over the years. They may do the bare minimum for upkeep but that is also reflected in the rental price. For example, the washers and dryers on site are ancient but they still function so the owners have not replaced them. Renovations were slow due to the long bidding process. Ultimately, the owners (not management) only fix what is broken. They don't replace something just because a new model is out. If you wan't one of those places, you may be better off looking for a place that charges your annual salary per month. All in all, this place is well maintained and managed by Steve and his staff. Although I may have a few gripes about how little the owners update this place to keep it current, I'm satisfied given the price I pay. If you want a safe, comfortable, welcoming and affordable place to live while you pay off debt and build wealth this is where you want to reside.

One star is too much !! Management only cares about Money, profit & Greed !!! Period !! They do the very minimal maintenance just to get by. The walls and floors are so thin, you hear everything about your neighbors. Phone reception is poor in the building. Parking lot is full of pot holes. The whole summer the hot sauna, was not fixed, all kind of excuses. Very poor lighting around the complex. The Gym room is literally a joke. The laundry machines are so old, they do not wash good, they break very often & out of service sign post is very common. They simply do not care about the Residents. They do not notify the residents, when there is a crime in the complex, they keep it in the hush hush. I do not recommend Park Embassy Apartments in Saint Louis Park.

One star is to much if you're thinking of living here just don't you can do so much better. First off the management doesn't care about anything they only do what is convenient to them if you have an emergency don't even bother calling them they either won't answer or take forever to fix the problem. Which is a problem considering our apartment seemed to have constant problems and there is so much more to say but I'm just going to end with that you don't want to live be here period.
