This place rocks. They have great atmosphere, the food is delectable, and the service was so quick! Our waitress was very attentive, even after the dinner rush started coming in. We got baked French onion soup, Cobb salad, kids pizza and fries, and a Bloody Mary.
Good service and great local brewery. A lot of variety in their beers and they always have something new to try. Highly recommend giving the place a try. Nice atmosphere for a date night or just hanging out with friends.
We visited Emmett's Brewing Company for a rehearsal dinner and were impressed with the food. Appetizer favorites were the pretzels and mustard and the bruschetta. The bruschetta was the best I've ever had, it was so light and crispy. For dinner, we had the salmon and rice pictured and the chicken and smashed potatoes. The salmon and rice was very good, the rice with the sauce was creamy and delicious. We found the chicken to be too dry. Potatoes were good. For dessert, we had a brownie and ice cream, and the brownie was perfectly fudgey and rich. We also had several cocktails and beer and found the cocktails to be a tad too sweet especially the lemon lavender drink and the old fashioned. The beer ranged from good to fine.
Wasn’t quite sure what to expect, as I’ve been to one of the other locations and wasn’t super impressed…but I enjoyed my beer and had the salmon which was very well cooked. It came with a turmeric rice which was excellent, as was the broccolini. I would order it again without question.
Went here with a large group for dinner and was very impressed by the food! Great sized portions and a decently extensive menu with something for everyone. The beer cheese soup deserves a special acknowledgement because it was phenomenal! Service was definitely slow, but I am assuming they like everyone right now are understaffed, because there were only two people running the dining room on a Saturday night. We will certainly be back next time we are in the area.
The building is a 4 star - historic details and decor from the old days. Service was very attentive and doubled up with quick service. The drink options are great and pretty good too but I was very disappointed in my meal - and many others with me- if the crispy fries still the show it’s a miss- filet medallions look great but had to use steak sausage- my gourmet burger was soggy and bun falling off from greasy bottom. This was my second visit and would say great drinks, service but food could need attention. The location is Great- walk around and enjoy downtown Dundee.
Nice brewery and restaurant. Great choice of beers and cocktails as well as food specials. Wonderful inside and outdoor patio. Located downtown Palatine surrounded by other restaurants and shopping.
Food was good, mixed drinks & the beer was excellent. Service was perfect too. The tanks are so cool to see & you can take some beer home too! Can’t wait to come back.
Food was good and the Competition Stout was wonderful. Although we were not seated at the bar, our server was the bartender. I think so communication breakdown occurred because we did not get ask for our order until 20 min after arriving. We got our food 30 min after arriving. I also had to ask for the check. I think it was hard for the bartender since people were at the bar too. This was on Labor Day at 12:30-ish. I'd go again, but just make sure you are being served quickly. We had: Angus Burger, Bacon Cheese burger, and Cheddar Ale Soup with Competition Stout.
Been going here for years. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the beer is top notch, and the food is always great! A cup of their cheddar ale soup and the pretzel roll is always great on a chilly day! Will continue to head here with friends and family in the future!
