Hands down my favorite restaurant in Sarasota.
The food is always so fresh and flavorful. The food combinations are always very creative. I had a choice of where to go on my birthday and Empacurious was it! The owners Alfonso and Sylvia are warm and inviting, and take great care in what they do. They made my birthday very special. I look forward to many more fun family times at EmpaCurious and am so glad they are in Sarasota.

We dined here while visiting friends. Fantastic food and delightful owners. Our return home was delayed so we had another opportunity to dine her with a second friend. Food was delicious. Especially the chicken bhangra. And the desserts were spectacular. We really appreciated the wine selection. And the music was delightful, romantic and suitable for dining and conversation.

EmpaCurious gives you a taste of culinary flavors from around the world for cuisines that do not have their own restaurants. My wife and I have had the pleasure of tasting the amazing choices of EmpaCurious from the beginning and they have done nothing more than continue to perfect their purpose in giving the patron an international flavor experience from the appetizer to desert. This is not just another mom and pop restaurant which has thrown yet another twist on the same old meal you can get anywhere else. The owners have taken painstaking efforts to experiment with their own ideas and consult with food and wine professionals for pairing just the right elements in every part of the meal so that the flavors flow from one dish to the next. 
EmpaCurious is definitely a place where you want to be patient with your meal, if not, you will miss the wonderful eating experience you are given. I also love the way they continue to change the menu from one week to the next giving new dishes and flavors to enjoy. 
When you go there talk to the owners Alfonso and Sylvia, they get you excited about trying something new and different which you will not regret.
If you are a foodie in any way move EmpaCurious to the top of your list. If you are not a foodie but want to try something like you will never eat anywhere else then make your way to EmpaCurious.

Hands down best empanadas - and we have had them (almost) all over the world. Unique flavors, perfect seasoning, melt-in-your-mouth dough that is crispy and flavorful. Very friendly and personable service. Not cheap, but worth every dollar ;-).

of us went here tonight after reading previous reviews. Love the location and simply, cozy atmosphere. The food was wonderful! All very tasty and not overbearing spices. We will definitely return. Next time we will try the homemade desserts too.
