Very interesting restaurant in the Gulf Gate neighborhood of Sarasota.  Lots of Greek staples.  When I went, I had a Gyro, which was very good.  Dining room kind of opens up to the street, creating a very interesting atmosphere.  Server was polite and knowledgeable about the menu.

Reasonable prices. Best grape leaves I've had in some time. Stuff with meat n traditional spices etc. Usually get the rice stuffing, not so good. Had octopus and lamb gyro, excellent. People go go go. Snow people there are parts of Sarasota your missing out on. This is 5 minutes from midnight pass. Gulf gate road area, off tamiami.   All sorts of good pubs and different ethnic foods.

This will not be nice. I visited once with a friends and both of us what are the Gyros and we're pretty disappointed. It is family run and that aspect is chumming except they appear to be overwhelmed, and while they might visit you once you'll be yelling after them the second time.
Especially harsh critic because I lived two summers on a Greek Island we're even on the Primitive conditions they do better than this restaurant. What am I complaining about? The gyro meat have been cut quite a while before serving and reheated it appears on a griddle, making it stiff, if I can use that word and yogurt sauce was tasteless. No garlic no lemon. They need a reboot.

Eat here several times a month.  Never disappointed. Friendly, authentic & delicious. Reasonably priced.
