I see haircuts as generally on a "you pay for what you get" basis.
In the case of Empire, $5 haircuts will generally be not as good as pricier. Granted, these are students and they're learning.

They charged me 6.00 apiece to put in hair extensions. That was put in and remove the old ones. Good deal. Nice job(s) I just called asking how much just to remove them. She told me ten and up. 
I guess I'll be leaving them in. They put them in, they only do one kind. But she didn't know what kind they are, I'm In there alot. And she went and asked.. So I guess I'm stuck. Somebody doesn't know what they are talking about. I never had a problem before..

I had an appointment at noon and called them to let them know I would like an earlier appointment they didn't give me a problem at all and took me in earlier. The staff was nice and friendly. The student was so nice and even offer to go buy me some food while we where waiting to wash my hair. It was a long process to dye my hair but so worth it and the price was cheap for all the work she did.  I will definitely be going back. Love the end result

I didn't like this place don't go there to have gel nails done. Had my nails done the next day well actually the same day the nails started peeling off.  by 5 Days Later all of my nails had actually peeled off my fingers had no damage. they said to come in and redo it. but I had other services done and they couldn't just take the $10 and apply it towards another service, which I don't think is fair because I went back and had my hair done.  I was so awesomely happy with it the first week I got it, but the color faded very fast. so I asked if I could use it towards getting hair service a $10 credit and they told me that they could only use it to get my nails done again Bad Business practice sucks beware color only stayed in about 2 weeks

More of a drama school than beauty school, but I'll say its alright school, I learn some stuff, I somewhat recommend it.
