I love this school. The review from JunDec has no idea what they are talking about. The teachers are phenomenal, the playground is massive and they offer lots of extras built into the already outstanding program. See for yourself! They are happy to show you around. We have been thrilled with our experience.

I like the idea that this school has accreditation . I also like that they have a small Outdoor play area, even though it gets extremely crowded and doesn't support too many children. My dislike about this place is that the staff who work there are not approachable this includes even the principal. They give you a lose idea of how the day would be for the child but the staff would change the schedule as it suits them. They have no set time for outdoor play time, no set time for free play. The morning may start with free play or if teacher changes her mind, she would be reading a book. They have montestories material but what my children really learns is completely up to me to assess. Montessori principles do state that Children learn things in their own free time and through their peers, this is cleverly stated in every meeting by these teachers. I have found by experience that public school formats have better communication, better approachability and teachers are emotionally and academically better trained to handle the Children and their needs. Someone commented that the cost of this School is nominal. No, this school is as costly as lot of these schools that claim to have a 'learning principle' the only that makes this one a little lower is its tight space and too many kids in a room, though the staff would tell you that's by state standards. I have found on many occasions kids crying and wailing and staff quietly ignoring the child. This is done to discipline a young child, in my opinion this will only make the child feel his needs are not important. I can understand if a child has been hitting or biting another child and is being grounded but any child who has had minor issues with rules is made to sit and watch his friends have fun while they sit in a corner watching them. Even small mistakes like spilling is punished more harshly in my opinion. I am concerned if they follow Maria Montessori's principle of love, nurture and kindness. This seem more of a boarding school/ some religion based schools (in the vicinity)ideology. when a parent selects a school, costly, reputed and with an ideology, he assumes his child will be given enough opportunity for emotional growth and creative expression. My concern with this school is their idea of Discipline, their lack of understanding emotional need of the child, lack of a proper structure in curriculum and a schedule. They don't respect parents suggestions on anything. I find them arrogant, opinionated and dogmatic in everything.

I was thrilled to find this school for my son. It's brand new and my 2 year old has a great time there. They have everything we need. The people that work there are there because they're great teachers and love kids. This is NOT a day care. My son is way ahead of the game and I feel good about him being there. He has learned so much and very good habits. He asks to go to school!

As educators, my wife and I were cautious (as most parents are) and eager to find a facility that would not only drive an academic curriculum for our preschool-age daughter and kindergarten son, but foster the growth of independence, social awareness, and responsibility. Look no further than Greenbrook Montessori -- my children are loved and respected here, and it is obvious how invested every staff member has become in them both. We are forever grateful as we've already seen the results. Our son recently started 1st grade, and he is strides ahead of his peers. In terms of expense, it's comparable if not less expensive than private home care and other facilities while providing an enriched curriculum filled with hands-on activities, one-to-one work with devoted teachers, and overall positive atmosphere that encourages learning and social/emotional growth and well-being. Chef Dan even creates three menus to provide for the diverse needs of all the wonderful children at Greenbrook. This is a guarantee -- you will never regret this decision and will carry forward its results for the rest of your child's life. We only wish we had found it sooner.
