Location is great. Students are all friendly. My only problem,  the only reason I stopped going there was the wait.  Even with an appointment there waa a wait. Noy 4 or 5 minutes. Once 25 minutes...10 minutes....

I enjoyed attending school here and learned alot more then I ever expected! From learning styling techniques, to using many different tools, to even anatomy, of the hair anyways, there was so much to learn and they did a thorough job teaching it all. Empire is a great place to attend to become a top notch Cosmetogist, thanks!

Called three times to get information. Someone picked up and hung up every time. Calling a more professional school.

I don't mean to speak for all the current stylists in training, but all the 3-4 people I've known who went through Empire Beauty did not know how to cut hair. AT ALL. I don't think it's a coincidence they all do a crappy job. I think Empire values quantity (taking more students for $$$) than quality. Their coloring technique was passable. Like another reviewer said, the people I knew (who were already out of the school and somehow passed their boards) gave me essentially a mullet-- longer in the back and short-ish in the front- even when I specifically said shorter in the back and longer in the front. The layers did not blend, it was very pronounced. Anyway, they need to focus on actually training competent stylists rather than getting more students through the door to make money.
