Story

EMT Electronics, Inc was established in 1974 and incorporated in September of 1981 in the state of Louisiana. EMT Electronics, Inc. has maintained a steady growth in marine and industrial electrical and electronics sales and services that they need and deserve.
EMT Electronics, Inc. headquarters located in Houma, Louisiana and serves the whole gulf of Mexico area and overseas. All senior technicians are experienced, knowledgeable and capable in the field of marine and industrial electrical repairs. We also have an electrical engineer on staff and licensed FCC personal, ABS and Lloyd’s certified to help with your services and inspection needs. Knowledgeable sales person for equipment and parts, including obsolete parts, that has technical knowledge in our fields. Other divisions of EMT Electronics, Inc. include a parts store, Omni Electronics LLC and fiberglass antenna manufacturing company Commander Technologies, Inc.
Emt Electronics, Inc. has an extensive inventory of equipment and parts for the repairs of most of the marine electronic manufactures: Radar, GPS plotting systems, autopilots and steering systems and rudder angle indication (RAI), depth sounders, wind gauges and weather systems, power supplies and battery charges, magnetic compass and gyro compasses, compass calibration, VHF and SSB radios, antennas (VHF,SSB, digital Omni directional TV, satellite TV, weather fax, navtex, ect.), automatic identification systems (AIS), ship’s security alert system (SSAS), global marine distress systems (GMDSS), bridge navigation watch alarm systems (BNWAS), solar panel battery and maintainer systems (as in life boat battery or VHF emergency communications), Emergency Positioning Identification Radio Bacon (EPIRB) including test verification devices for inspections, Search and rescue Transponder (SART).
We also have an marine and industrial electrical service department for the electrical side of the generators and panels, engine alarm including periodic test procedure verification and repairs, engine and shaft tach systems, bow thruster, dynamic positioning systems (DP), Z-Drives, switchgears, vessel electrical systems, breakers and panels, soft start, Cap Rock, control systems, Vacon and Dief controllers, engine over telegraph (EOT) systems, welding machine and calibrations, manual and automatic lathes, plus most machine shop equipment.
