Today my wife and I went online to rent a car for a few days, since mine is in the shop. We selected everything and filled out the forms, and everything was great... We were told to pick up our selection in the afternoon.

A few minutes before we were scheduled to pick up the car, the representative called us, and rudely stated that he didn't have anything for us, that he wasn't sure why it let us do it online but that he had nothing for us.

We were taken aback since we were almost at the location and were unaware of any issues. We said thanks and we were going to ask about other options when the representative hung up on us.

I feel there are several ways to resolve such a matter, but in this Enterprise failed completely. The representative was rude, and I find it hard to believe a claim of I have nothing for you (I would've happily paid a bit extra for a different type of car, or accepted a discount for an upgrade since they had already agreed to lend me a vehicle.)

The representative didn't offer any apologies or resolution, but hung up the phone.

Rent-A-Car is part of the name, and they failed at this.

Customer service is part of the game, and they failed at this also.

The next time I need a car rental I won't consider this business, and I advise readers to do the same.

I'll also be sharing this on social media.

EDIT: We went by just out of curiosity and they definitely had cars in the lot... This speaks for itself

Good service but not alot of inventory.   Sometimes you have to wait for a vehicle to come in.

They have awesome customer service...I called early morning on the day I needed my rental & got it at a great price & w friendly service.
