My son picked up an Enterprise rental in the Bronx and was driving on Route 80 when the tire pressure light came on.. he stopped to inflate the tires but it didn't resolve the problem. Knowing your Parsippany location was on his way and right off the highway I called and spoke with Carissa who very courteously arranged to take care of him when he arrived. It all worked out and we are very grateful!

The staff were great. They were attentive and positive. I had a car exchange in the middle of a contract. They handled the exchange professionally, humanely and to my satisfaction.

I wish I could give a zero star.
I read the ratings and reviews. My friend also suggested me that this location was good. I had a confirmation number from my car's insurance, so I called this location's number and also went to meet in person, but in vain a bitter experience for the second time!

I have an NJ driving license which says Probationary Auto-license. Only enterprise does not give rental cars, hertz gave me a rental car without any issues on my same driving license.

Enterprise needs to be aware of DMV policies, when a driving license has the word probationary on it that means the probationary term is valid only for an year after the date of issue and for 21years and above. DMV will not issue another driving license because the current driving license is not yet expired and they confirmed that my driving license is a valid one and I should be fine with it! In my case, the issue date was 22 july 2016 and expiry date is 1 may 2019. And today's date is 1 aug 2017, one year past the issue date so the term probationary becomes invalid.

Enterprise has very little knowledge on the DMV policies and I am surprised how are they operating! The branch manager just did not listen to what I had to say or even confirm with NJ DMV but just denied me a rental car. If hertz can give you, you should get it from there - this is what I was told !

Will NJ DMV allow me to drive my own car for more than a year?! And also, will any insurance approve of my driving at the first place if my driving license was temporary or invalid?

Ridiculous is the word for Enterprise customer service. They are not updated with the DMV policies and yet claim sorry they cannot help, this is their stupid policy. :@

Excellent Service. Carissa was fantastic in the pre sales, sales and post sales. always helpful, contactable  and on top of the situation. Well done guys. Enterprise and the Parsippany branch is my choice for all US car hire henceforth.

Generally, the  representatives are courteous, professional and efficient. However, the corporate practices are not as professional. Enterprise keeps a $250 dollar deposit for every rental. When the car is returned, it may take 3-5 business days to reverse the deposit. All this time Enterprise has use of your money and is profiting from the "float" on your deposit - something financial firms have been doing for years.
Additionally, staffing levels at the store locations are always tight, causing delays and lines resulting in a poor customer experience.  
On a positive note, Enterprise offers some customer friendly services such as a car pick up service and upgrades when customers are inconvenienced. But, what good is a reservation if your car is given away 15 minutes after the estimated pick-up time? A simple phone call would alleviate the issue and score points with customers.
