Erickson Construction is a top notch outfit with quality employees. Matt was very competent and extremely helpful with helping us plan out a sunroom and deck addition to my parents home. He also created a new door opening to the deck where a window had been, added three new doors and a side door porch with railings to the house for safety reasons for my elderly parents, and made several suggestions on how to improve our project to keep costs under control. I found their work to be above the quality I expected, and I am very demanding in what I want quality wise. The workmen, especially Eric, were very personable and easy to discuss ideas with as the work progressed. Their ability to produce top quality work is second to none, and they were willing to share the reasons and processes necessary to do the work with me was exceptional. They will tell you I am very curious about how things were done, but they explained things to me whenever I asked with a cheerful, helpful attitude. It was a pleasure to have them complete our project, and I am having them do additional projects at my parents house. I also plan to use their services at my house when we begin our renovations and additions in the near future. We constantly receive positive comments from people in town about the quality and the great job that was done. Even from the town building inspector, who was greatly impressed with the quality of the work. Hire these guys without reservation!

I am very impressed with the service and quality of work by Erickson Construction. It is a family owned business and you can see the pride they take in doing the job right. I definitely recommend their work, and I found their proposal to be competitive and fair.They were able to make suggestions that made my project turn out even better, but there was no pressure to do upgrades, it was more like being presented with options. They cleaned up after themselves every night, and I think I only found one stray empty coffee cup the whole time. Everybody that comes to my home raves about how nicely the work turned out.

Wow, where to start! We've had a couple of experiences recently and they have both been positive. Quotes for work were fair. We started a project on our own, and got in over our heads; they were receptive to 'rescue' parts of our project and work with us to achieve our vision. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves (in addition to being exceptionally respectful of our home, carpeting, and animals while here), and offered helpful suggestions for us to consider both when we initially discussed our needs and as the work progressed. They gracefully accommodated changes in original plans as the remodel unfolded and we discovered new options we wanted to include, but they didn't try to upsell their services, which I appreciate. Can't say enough good about Matt and Bob... Hadn't seen the review below prior to engaging their services...can only say that absolutely wasn't our experience, and folks who know me find me a little exacting, precise, and very conscious of detail, for what it's worth.

Over the past couple of months, I've had Erickson do a myriad of different projects on the house I just purchased and everything has come out to my expectations and then some. The projects ranged from installing new hard wood flooring to removing part of a fireplace and replacing it with drywall and a very nice mantle. They even fixed my gutter which fell off during a windstorm since I had no idea how to do it. They are clean, friendly, and do quite good work. I highly recommend them for doing any kind of renovation work or even basic handy-man type things. I will also be using them again for some upcoming projects come the spring/summer.

AWFUL COMPANY, SERVICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!! My wife and I hired this company, because a friend of the family had heard they were good, so my wife called to up to make an appointment to take a look at our upstairs bathroom that we were looking to completely redo and update. I was not there for the initial meeting, but I trusted my wife's opinion and she seemed to really like the first meeting with their representative. This is where the positive feedback ends.... We decided to go with them for our project, and it seemed like everything just started to go downhill from there. First off, they said would be starting two weeks after our first meeting, but the Monday they were supposed to show up, they never did, nor did they call to explain why. I was upset because we had to do some shuffling with our schedules to accommodate, but I figured they would have a good explanation. I tried calling them for several days after that, leaving messages and trying to patiently await a response. Finally, on that same Friday, I tried again and FINALLY got through to an extremely rude and unpleasant woman. I explained that their team was supposed to be at my house 4 days ago and that I had not received a call or any notification about it. She rudely put me on hold for a good 10 minutes, but I wouldn't hang up, fearing I wouldn't be able to get them back on the phone. Finally, a supervisor came on the phone and claimed that they weren't coming until next week and I was mistaken, which wasn't true, but rather than argue the matter further, I let it slide and awaited the following week. Finally, Monday comes along and they showed up. There was a team of 4 guys there, 2 of them were extremely rude and obnoxious; while out on my front yard doing prep work, they were yelling obscenities to each other constantly. When I asked them to stop, they said they would and when I turned my back, I know I heard one of them made a snide comment under his breath, but again, I didn't say anything, just hoping to get the project completed. Throughout the day they were trampling in and out of the house and by the end of the day, my floors were filthy and none of them bothered to try and clean anything up or even apologize for it. By the end of the day, they got most of the demo done and brought in new appliances/cabinets etc. - I went to talk to the "foreman" about how things were going to progress from there (BTW - he smelled like a liquor cabinet) he said that his boss would be getting back to me in a few days. Well, to make a long story even longer, they finally got back to me, and they eventually finished the bathroom project, at 4 weeks beyond what was originally promised AND I was charged an additional $1500 more than I was quoted. The overall quality of the bathroom at a glance is OK, but when you start examining things, you'll notice a lot of shortcuts, poor craftsmanship, and overall very amatuerish work - especially considering what I paid for the project. I could have done this myself and done a better job.
