Their customer hit me 10/22/16 and almost killed me. I have been trying to settle with them since March and they have done nothing the initial accident happened and their client took a week to reply to them. The first adjuster David was great. It switches to an adjuster by the name of SUSANNA MCPHAUL she does NOTHING with this at all. End of may I get a letter it is switching to yet another adjuster named Phyllis Jackson who has been NO help either. I end up getting a Cheryl Green on the phone who is A manager. Even talked to Joyce Lowenslide who is suppose to be the head Mananger of the company. Takes her to get a consent form sent off to get the process started that was in June. They keep saying they don't have this and that but it is all a LIE. They expect me to do all the leg work they have done nothing and then give me some bogus settlement amount. Their client has cost me over 40k (My brand new truck was a total loss and my medical and lost wages) my life is forever changed and will forever be changed by their client and they could careless. These people should not be in this business. They think they can mistreat others because the calls aren't recorded etc. I'm reporting them to the Maryland Insurance administration. This is sad and makes me so frustrated that their lack of urgency in this matter is ridiculous!

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER! In accident during snow not at fault and claims all backed up for 2 full weeks!!! This is ridiculous. Not even my insurance company! Only vehicle are they going to reimburse loat wages as well!??? DOESNT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR!

NEVER BEEN A CUSTOMER AND WILL NEVER BE . I was shopping for a car and did not really know what insurance company would be best for me ( service , price , offers ) so i tried to get quotes from multiple companies . My coworker told me about Erie so I went on their website and filled out the application to get a quote . they just gave me a quote for liability online so i decided to call to know what will be the price for full coverage . first of all the first person after 10 min on hold , picks up the phone and doesn't understand any words i am saying . i talk and she respond back in Spanish . I asked to talk to someone that speaks English as i can't communicate in Spanish . she puts me on hold for about ten minutes . someone picks up the phone , i explain her that i am trying to get a quote for full coverage . she asked me why am I calling THEIR office ? i said thats the number i was given at the end of the application she said okay let me put you to someone that can check for you . i waited 5 minutes to talk to someone that can pull out my quote from their system . she comes back to me and says i was able to find your quote but unfortunately i can't offer you a better price . I said i don't want a better price . I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHATS THE RATE FOR FULL COVERAGE . SHE SAID YEAH SORRY I CAN'T OFFER YOU INSURANCE AND HANGS UP !!! WOW

If I could give no star I would. Hands down WORST insurance company I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. I now have to get a lawyer involved for breach of contract due to this company's incompetence. In particular, Kisha Russsel- Brown not only did not do her job or return phone calls unless forces to do so by her supervisor, but her emails- when returned- showed a lack of professionalism and poor grammar. I hope none of you have the bad luck of having to deal with this level of disregard.

I've been an Erie customer for more than 20 years and I have been on both sides (loss victim and guilty party) of more than one claim over the years. I have ALWAYS had outstanding service from them with prompt payment and friendly service. I would highly recommend Erie to anyone for car, home or renters insurance!
