It's nice there are two sides to the park. But the small dog section doesn't have any fun areas other than to play fetch.

           More like Erie Metro Dog Club.  
    It's a great idea having a off leash park for dogs, but a $20.00 fee for Erie residents and $25.00 for nonresidents is a little harsh. 
    Especially after paying  $18.00 too Erie County for a dog tag. 
    Then there's hoops they want you to jump through, like your dog's vaccination records from your veterinarian, dog licence proof, and registration forms to fill out.  
    I lived in Richmond Indiana for 10 yrs. The city had a dog park like this one but better, and it was free to the public and no paper work.
    It was very nice with doggy play obstacles, toys, and lots of park benches. 
    I know for some $20.00 is nothing, but for some it's more than they have. 
    Here's a thought for you; Maybe the county will start tagging human children and get their medical records to see if their healthy.
    Maybe ask for school records to see if their smart enough and have good enough manners to play with others.  Then charge parents for their kids to play in The Erie Metroparks.
