Cannot tell you about the actual educational part of the school. Seems like a Community College with a Rutgers vibe to it. It’s easily accessible by public transportation. Parking around Newark is always a nightmare. But the location is lovely.

Grounds to reinstate Prof Lisa Durden. Two college TA's keeps their jobs, after posting hateful rhetoric comments, online. These two teacher assistants are white men. I believe Essex County College, will have a lawsuit against the college.

The staff isn't all that great but I am not sure the college is doing their best either

One of the most dysfunctional places I have ever seen in my life. Staff is rude and then act like you are crazy when you get rude in return. You have to constantly stay on top of them to make sure they are processing your paperwork. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they do try to get people off the street and into a program and the daycare is a nice bonus.

WHY IS THIS COLLEGE IN EXISTENCE ???? THE STUDENT SERVICES ARE HORRIBLE AND WHEN YOU DO GET A HOLD OF SOMEONE THEY ACT LIKE YOU TALKING TO THEM IS THE WORST PROBLEM IN THE WORLD!!! DO YOUR JOB IF YOU DONT WANT IT GET ANOTHER ONE SADLY I HAVE TO ATTEND THIS SCHOOL THIS FALL AND I MUST SAY PAPERWORK, MEETINGS, ETC. HAVE BEEN A WASTE OF TIME HERE THIS SCHOOL IS LAZY, SLOW AND INCAPABLE OF DOING SIMPLE TASKS LIKE PAPERWORK OR PHONECALLS I WILL BE GLAD TO LEAVE THIS COLLEGE ASAP IF I COULD GIVE THIS SCHOOL A NEGATIVE I WOULD THIS SCHOOL ISNT WORTH A 1 STAR RATING
