Story

Dr. Brilliant loves creating beautiful, healthy smiles for his patients. After growing up in Long Island, NY, he attended the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor where he received his Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Resource Ecology and Management. Dr. Brilliant continued his education at the State University of New York at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. He then continued onto a residency at the San Diego Veterans Administration Hospital.

Dr. Brilliant is committed to continuing his education and is active in the dental community. He is an active member in many organizations including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Association. He considers himself a lifelong learner and frequently attends conferences to remain up-to-date on the latest diagnostic and treatment advances.

Dr. Brilliant is a second generation dentist, as his father is a practicing dentist and his mother is a dental hygienist. Dr. Brilliant's wife, Sharon, is a speech therapist, and they have two young sons.

Outside of the office, Dr. Brilliant enjoys living in the Scripps Ranch Area of San Diego. Dr. Brilliant loves to follow many professional sports, and escapes to the beach for runs whenever he can. Dr. Brilliant also loves to play golf and spend time outdoors. Dr. Brilliant enjoys humor and has recently found a creative outlet for expressing his interest. He enjoys making quirky pictures, videos and sculptures about family, friends and dentistry.
