It's a great visitor center. Quite large, beautiful building, great view... definitely stop here first on the way into town, even if briefly. It's right off the highway and lets you back out on the highway, so it's really no detour, and a no-brainer.

If you have never been to Estes Park, go here first! They have all kinds of brochures and ideas for fun stuff to do (for people of all ages and interests). The staff is really nice and happy to help. They also have computers set up so you can just click on things that might interest you and go from there. The visitor's center is on the riverwalk, so we just took off from there and walked around downtown for hours and hours and we found tons of things to keep us busy for the duration of our visit to Estes Park. We have fallen in love with the small town and plan on visiting again! The town is small enough you can walk to just about everywhere.

They were super helpful at this visitor center in helping me navigate Rocky Mountain National Park. I caught a shuttle from here and rode in because the park had shut down access by car.

There are a lot of pamphlets here and the staff is very easy to talk to and will offer suggestions on things to do in town or at the national park.

They have ample free parking and clean bathrooms. The guides were very helpful.
