Staff is not very friendly. Asked for restroom and quickly told no public restrooms. Spinners have sign that state do not try out spinners before buying. Lots of negative. Lots of No’s.

I have been stopping in at this True Value intermittently over the last couple of years while vacationing in the area. This spring we purchased a vacation rental property close by. I have made multiple trips for a variety of items for use in our property. They have always been courteous and helpful when I have needed assistance.

Store has a firm no return policy on many items. Used or unused. We bought folding chairs for twice as much as one would pay in most places. This is to be expected in a tourist area. However, we did not realize that friends would be bringing chairs. So we tried to return these unused chairs. No way... per manager Tom. No discussion. No offer for restocking or anything. Its too bad, as we would rather do business with small business rather than big box stores. But at some level they need to compete. If not price, perhaps service.

Stopped in for a button battery. The store associate pointed to the empty peg, stated "We're out." and turned around and walked off. I understand about being out of stock for an item, but there was no additional assistance offered.

Best store in Estes Park! They have just about anything you could need. Employees always offer assistance and are very helpful
