The Eugene library is awesome. Great selection of books, CDs, and movies. I really enjoy the foreign language section as it is large and extensive. There is underground parking and I have never had an issue with parking. There is also the Bethel Branch and another branch near Sheldon High School. I like the fact I can check out a book downtown and return it at either branch. You can also reserve a book online and have it delivered to another branch for pick up. Great library!

the library is good except for one thing. it serves as proof of the rotten way that homelessness is handled in Eugene. library has become hangout and primary bathroom facility for homeless, of course they sleep there because you wont let them sleep on your horded government land. and almost nobody reads the books because the computer has made them an anachronism. I find that very sad.

I rent a room in a house that apparently does not pay property taxes in the city of Eugene and cannot renew my library card. I don't own the house and live and work in Eugene but cannot have a library card unless I pay a monthly fee which is more than spotify and Netflix combined monthly. This outrageous and a horrible way to do business. I used to buy my morning coffee in the cafe in the Library lounge but will no longer be doing so due to this tyranny they have pushed onto me. I even took my parents there when they were in town and told them how great the library was, I wish I had not done that because I was grossly misinformed. Will not step foot in the Eugene Public Library ever again.

This library has a s*** ton of books. Seriously. Like 3 stories of books. Awesome. And I haven't even gotten to check out the section of dvd's and music cd's. I bet the selection is crazy. They've got a sick little coffee shop and seating area right in the entrance. Bombest bagels I ever had. Swear to God. Super chill spot I'm telling you. I've also gotta add that this library helped me out when I was in a serious bind. It was at a time in my life when I almost ended up homeless 'cuz I needed a Job. Thankfully, I had this library to go to to print out resumes. Within a couple weeks I got a job. Now I've got two. So the only reason I docked a star is because it's a major pain in the a** to log onto the computers. It'd be super cool if Y'all could make that easier. Printing out a paper is a laborious process as well. Wtf, Eugene Public library? Despite this the staff are very helpful and kind. I would like to add that this place would be a nice tourist spot. It's a pretty interesting library.
