Best teachers. Mainly focused on athletics, whereas hutch is mainly focused on academics. Unlike a lot of middle and high schools, the coaches here are really nice and actually value their students. Also one of the only middle schools to have a full orchesta program (orchestra and band combined). Also, just for reference, Honey, Miller, Waters, and Parsons Elementaries all feed into this school. It feeds into Monterey High School, along with O L Slaton and Atkins Middle Schools.

I could do without it. I have been here 3 years and have had problems with my peers trought my whole time there. Its not the worst school, however its not the best. Mainly focused on athletics rather than academics. Some tachers are really nice. Mr. Tone (7th grade sience), Mrs. Soto( 7th grade ELAR), Mrs. Barrett (Theater), and Mrs. Nixson (8th grade sience), are some of my favorites.

It is a great school.I've been there since 6th grade and I have loved all of the teachers.One of my favorites is Mr.Parks.
