I wonder if the option of giving a quarter of a star should be made readily available? perhaps a negative, i feel would best describe my experience in this facility. It fills me with great fear to recall my time in this facility. The facility is terribly understaffed. Almost always, which means many things inevitably fall through the cracks. Residents will weep, as they defecate on themselves. As they are left with little alternative, after waiting for hours on end with no help available to them. Incredibly though despite this they have little to no desire to hire more. Coupled with a greater desire to fire employee's at the first sign of any issue no matter how minor. The allegory of throwing one under a bus could not be more readily applicable. A great deal of backbiting and sabotage is habitually formed among employee's. A soul crushing place to work. it brings nothing but horror to mind at the notion of growing old and being forced to live out your day's in a place like that. Even the people who frequently smile in the facility, are bad as they frequently smile at one another yet proceed to condemn one another behind closed doors. A very malicious environment and worst still, like poison it seeps into the lively-hood of residents. People innocent in all of it, often will be exposed to it. I feel sorry for the poor souls who are forced to live in such an environment.

They take really good care of my mother! The manager ( Rean ) listens to the family members concerns and is doing his best to resolve any problems quickly. My mom doesn't speak any English, but has developed great rapport with few of the aides staff ( Maria, Fi, B and Randy) and they treat her with love and professional care. I am very thankful to each and everyone from the facility!

My mother suffered from Alzheimer's and was cared for at this facility at the end of her life and we could not have asked for a better experience. The hard working staff were always pleasant and available, my brother and I never felt that my mother was ever neglected; the room was clean and bright; the whole facility is in a very nice location. You have to realize that when your elderly parent is put into a nursing home, it's impossible for the care to exactly match the personal care at home--but for my family, Evergreen was a God send and we are very appreciative of how they cared for our mother when my brother was unable to keep her at home after she fell ill with pneumonia.

They don't even deserve 1 star. If you care about your loved ones..DO NOT put them into this facility. How they are still running is beyond me. Staff is mean and careless. For example: Leaving residents on toilets for 20-40 minutes at a time because they are "short staffed" and "Don't have the time" or not bringing them to the bathroom at all leaving them to go in their pants. Giving wrong medications, and not reporting injuries. Talking nasty to residents and making fun of them. I have put in many complaints to the state!

I worked here for about 5 months until I had to move. The housekeeping staff are treated like dirt, the maintenance walk around doing nothing, and the nurses are careless. There is a small group of nurses that care but it does not make up for the amount of people that are there for the money instead of the patients. I have seen patients beaten, not fed or the food is given to them cold, they are showered in cold water and left to defecate upon themselves. I encourage you not to take your family here. They deserve a lot better than what they would be getting here.
