Rodilyn Basco-Wooldridge - former partner of AR Salon HB has opened a new salon in Hermosa Beach.

Evolution Salon HB- is a Schwarzkopf Color Salon and a Brazilian Blowout Platinum Salon. We proudly offer a clean air environment for our stylists and clients with a state of the art fume extractor specifically designed to remove formaldehyde fumes and other potentially harmful fumes emitted by all types of keratin treatments. Evolution Salon is absolutely the most knowledgeable salon I've ever been to. Rodilyn (owner) and the entire staff are extremely talented. They keep up with the latest trends, but most of all, you feel and see the passion that they have for the business. You get the best treatment, but most importantly, results are phenomenal. Like everything in life, you get what you pay for.

I hate to do this, because they where SO nice, but nice will not give me my time back or fix the monstrosity that is my hair.  I had to go in three times.  The first time I left with chunky brassy highlights, roots, and a half way processed line at the very front and center of my hair where he tried to do a quick fix when he saw how badly he missed.  I will say the next day he took me back very graciously when I called and asked for it to be fixed.  The problem is I sat there for two more hours and instead of the problem being fixed I ended up with just more of the same problem.  Half way processed hair in patches around my head.  The worst part is he saw it and said "we'll have to just get that next time".    The third time I went back in I asked to have a different stylist. She took me in that day (so nice) and stayed late (again, I appreciate that), and although it was WAY better, it still is not good.  The color is the oddest that has ever been on my head. It's a weird highlighter yellow and not even close to what I wanted.  They did only charge me for the first color (not that that's not appropriate, but they could have been jerks and they where not) I now have to pay again somewhere else to have it fixed and regretfully will not be going back to this salon.  Blondes beware.  The damage is real.

Thank you for fixing someone else's mess!!! Ps. The pic attached to this review is the pic of what was done by another salon. This is what Patrick Evan Salon fixed. Thanks so much for taking me on such short notice.

I have been coming here for years and will never go anywhere else. Rodilyn is the absolute best. Very knowledgeable and great at everything she does. Beautiful salon and great service as well. Highly highly hiiiiighly recommended :)
