Story

Open to both the SCAD and Savannah communities, the new space includes the only authorized Apple campus store in the Coastal Georgia region. Offering a range of Apple products, from iMacs and MacBooks to software and accessories, the new Apple store also will provide diagnostic and repair services for Apple products. In addition to the Apple store, Ex Libris' new expanded technology department also includes a dedicated PC section.

The revamped store features a newly expanded line of SCAD-branded products and student, alumni and faculty-designed gift and home décor items from Working Class Studio, SCAD's innovative product development venture, merchandised throughout the ground floor. The in-store café and coffee shop, Cafe 78, has relocated to the back of the store to accommodate new kitchen space and an expanded breakfast and lunch menu, complete with a larger dining area where students can recharge between classes and access Wi-Fi from their laptops.

A vast array of art and office supplies, specialty papers and instructor kits can be found on the upper floors, while text and trade books remain in the basement.
