I absolutely loved this school, they helped my daughter to succeed.. We are both very grateful to the staff and all they had to offer.. my daughter would not have graduated on time or had the College classes she had... It also helped keep her apart from some bad influences that you find in a regular public school..

My daughter attends this school and does very well. She is concurrently enrolled at the College at 14 and the school has done what it can to accommodate her intellect. What else can you ask really? Its a school not a substitute parent folks.

If I had the ability to score them a NEGATIVE 10 I would! This is a horrible school. I regret signing my daughter up to this school. Her high school experience was ruined. The structure is horrible. Some of the staff there are maliscious, inconsiderate and clueless. Mrs. Muños, a fascilitator, conducts herself in an unprofessional manner. I am not a parent who thinks their child is perfect, I know teenagers can be difficult and challenging at times. My daughter would turn in work that she put in hard work into. Her response? It was too big. Or too much? Instead of praising, or give positive reinforcement... NO! She actually told her she did too much! Who says that? Not a good teacher or not a good counselor! It is a home school/ regular school. In the beggining of her freshman year, she only got one on-campus class. She was new, I can understand that. They assured us that by her Jr and Senior years she would have a set schedule on-campus. Not so! Even her Senior Year was 2 classes in the morning and 1 in the pm. Sports practices were all at 3pm. So, needless to say, their was a lot of driving back and forth. It took our whole family to get her through those 4 years. Luckily we are a close family. Let me add that the kids CANNOT stay on campus in between classes. They are basically forced to leave. They do not provide lunch for the kids. I can go on and on. But the straw that broke the camels back is that Mrs. Muños did not sign my daughters permission slip for Gradnight. She has done plenty of hateful things to my daughter... but this one stole the cake! Of course she called after she left the campus and wanted my daughter to return to the school and pay for her ticket at 2pm.... but emailed that if she would pay before 1pm dhe would get her ticket. What in the world? I tried calling the district, but they cannot help me. I am not sure who to report this to. If someone knows, please post it. Their is many more horrible things, but I hope this is enough to save your children from hating their high school experience. Dont do it. Do your research and send them elsewhere! Oh, one more thing... the teachers dont teach! Literally! They get packets and pray they understand the subject! Unbelievable!

I honestly would give it a negative 5 if I could. I am a student there and I have a very bad injury to my so while I walk on campus and sit down at the bench because I need a break (plus my class starts in 5 min so I thought there would be no problem. That's where I was wrong. As soon as I sat down and put my back back on the table the security guard harassed me about having a "quad permission slip" (which I have) and said I need to go because I'm not supposed to be here until class starts or I get a referral. Excelsior always seems to be in the wrong about everything. Also on a different day I almost got a referral for walking out of my facilitator room and going down stairs because again "I wasn't supposed to be there" so I said "I am leaving I just left my facilitator's office" and he continued to say "if I'm not supposed to be there I will get a refferal and then continued to follow me until I walked out. So if you want your kids harassed I advise going to excelsior charter school in victorville
