This school is really bad in my opinion because there are multiple teacher that are not professional at all. Such as Mr. Baschoff. Literally Me and a few other students have caught him staring at girls, favoring girls over boys, and even talking about sexual references that shouldn't be discussed at a middle school. Although he is one of the teacher who are bad, you might enjoy some time at this school because there are some teacher such as Mrs. Osterberg, Mrs.Davis, and Mrs.Mondragon who are a blast. They may be strict at times, but they do it so they learn. I had each of these teachers and I felt like I actually learned in his class, unlike Mr.Baschoff, His way of teacher is 'interesting' He is supposedly a Science and Math teacher, but he only favors Science! Also he barely teaches at all, he makes you look up everything in the book with these things he assigns called 'Notebook checks'. They are just Vocab words and simple questions you can find online, seriously a fifth grader could complete one of those no problem! And halfway through the year he only does Science experiments and doesn't teach science at all and barely even teaches math! Although he is supposed to be a Math teacher as well. One of the worst teachers at this school, and one of the worst schools I have experienced Period.

I hate my teachers, I just like Mrs. Kolosiej. Still racist and horrifying fights. There's a lot of violence with the mental kids. I REALLY don't wanna come back next year for 8th grade, Ancord is WAY better and fun, people do LOTS of activities and my best friend has told me that they do special events very often, not like here where there's sadness and bad teachers.THEY DONT GIVE A FREAK IF SOMEONE IS BULLYING YOU! They just say "Dont listen to them" but what are they gonna do when something bad really happens?

Lakeview Leadership Academy was a fine school to me. I enjoyed my time there with the teachers. who were rather nice and caring. At the most, some of them. The 2016-2017 honor's program teachers for seventh and eighth were helpful and had creative ways of teaching. Unfortunately, other teachers were not as welcoming or kind. Furthermore, I am giving this school an exceptionally low rating due to the events held there and staff. Whereas the staff is professional and kind, the current principal, Mr.Crosby, is professional as well. From a incompetent student's point of view, I would see Mr.Crosby as a strict, un-urban teacher. For this reasoning, the recent ban on Valentines gifts, such as; balloons, teddy bears, chocolates, etc. Simple gifts for friends are not welcome in a school environment anymore. Honestly, I agree that balloons, billboards filled with candy, and other large objects are a distraction to our education. However, school for some students, is a educational ground, and a social ground. Continuing on, many of the students there have no respect for teachers, property, staff, and other students. I believe a strengthened discipline system is in order. According to these other reviews, it states that fight happen "everyday". From a first-hand source; a student at Lakeview Leadership Academy, this is not true. Fights occur, most likely once or twice every two weeks. Only in high peaks of the year is when several fights occur in the same week, and even then, they are usually coordinated by students. One issue that I strongly have with Lakeview, is that whereas they are professional, in casual talk, when actual issues with other teachers and students are involved in an issue, they are somewhat rude and informal. Without bringing up names, or the incidents that had happened there, I was severely upset by the incident, and it was not fully closed as well. The staff idled the issue at hand and it was passed off. Although Lakeview Leadership Academy may have it's flaws, the electives and programs offered there are wonderful. The robotics teacher, Mrs.Osterberg, is kind, caring, and easy to work with. She is very qualified and professional as a teacher. I also enjoy the communications and broadcasting club. Another major flaw at Lakeview Leadership Academy is the 9th grade program they have been offering this year, and possibly the next year. It isn't a lie that Lakeview is understaffed, have not me the sufficient supplies, and cannot conform to the new freshmen. School sports and programs are not offered for 9th graders, and neither can the sufficient college points be earned for them. Newcoming students that are interested in the 9th grade program, I give a word of advice; I do not recommend going to this school for 9th grade. Going to an actual high school, like Silverado High School, Victor Valley High School, Apple Valley High School, etc. Would be a much better option for your child. Each of those schools have the staff and are trained and prepared for high school students. In conclusion, I gave Lakeview Leadership a somewhat lower than average score due to the reasons listed above. I hoped this helps anyone entering for the 2017-2018 school year. This is what I did instead of homework.
