I don't even know how to describe how horrible this company is specifically Anita. My husband started contacting Anita in March about a house that was listed for rent. She dismissed us because we were looking for the end of May. She said call when closer to your move in date since they want someone as soon as possible and are hoping to rent it out before our date.  We called her at the end of April asking if we could see the house. She made an appointment with my husband and then canceled last minute saying since we still weren't looking for another month so she didn't want to waste her time and show us the house. We waited another few weeks and then contacted her the second week of May because we wanted to move mid to end of May. She ignored my husbands calls. I decided to call her myself since she didn't know my name or my phone number. Surprisingly she picked up right away and made an appointment next day to show us the house.   She sent one to her coworkers to show us the house. We filled out the application that day and the credit check the second day. I had to call her to follow up because she told me she didn't have the credit check and I had done in 48 hours prior. They said once they had verification of our current lease they would rent to us. My husband and I were excited and took our dog for a walk past the house since it is only a few block away from us. At that time we saw someone had smashed the basement window. We called the police and reported it. We tried to call Anita but her voice mailbox was full. I ended up calling one of her  colleagues (the one that showed us the house).  Anita texted my husband and assured us it would be taken care of immediately. Two days later I walked past the house and it's still broken. I called Anita frustrated since we were having rain storms that week. She told me that someone was at the house as we speak fixing the window or at least putting plastic on it. I must have walked by when they ran out to get supplies (this is what she told me). The next day my husband and I went for a walk again with our dog just to see the window looked exactly the same. I called her again and left a voicemail. She called back and my husband picked up. She assured him that the window was being taken care of.  He questioned her saying is it? Because we've been by the window multiple times and it's still broken and she said there's a brand-new window installed. He said he could tell there isn't we were just there. She said there's plastic on the window. He said there isn't we just saw it. Then she said the plastic blew away. Within 10 seconds she told us three different lies. Then she told my husband they would no longer rent to us because we are very inconsiderate and annoying.  We were about to give them $5000 in less than 48 hours to move into this house yet it's been four days and they haven't fixed the broken window. I do not recommend this company especially Anita and I do not recommend buying or renting from them. Their correspondence is horrible. I'm so glad we dodged a bullet not renting from them.  Anita's original excuse to me about the window was that if we lived there they would have a faster response time but because the house is vacant they're taking their time. Shouldn't it not matter? If anything the house is empty you should fix it immediately to avoid vandals and having pests come in.  If this is how their correspondences is before you sign the lease I can't imagine after.
