after waiting 6 weeks for the appointment for my 10-year-old daughter, we were waiting in the office for more than 3 hours to finally see the Dr. only to be told that they don't normally see pediatric patients and to book with a pediatric ophthalmologist and/or a cornea specialist. Now not only do we need to find another Dr. she'll have to miss a day of school. The staff should have known this upon scheduling the appointment. I'm extremely disappointed with how this was handled. I'm sure, however, they'll bill my insurance for a new patient visit even though we left with nothing, not even a referral to someone else or a prescription for her glasses. That was the biggest waste of 3 hours of my life.

My grandma waited 1 HOUR and 10 minutes past her appointment time until she got called back. When I asked when she was being seen, I was continuously told "we're busy today, we're busy today." Multiple other patients were complaining about the wait and other family members who were complaining were told by patients that "it's always like this here." There is really no excuse. It is unacceptable for any doctor to make a patient wait that amount of time past their appointment. I see another ophthalmologist and have never waited more than 10 minutes. There are dozens of other ophthalmologists and we made an appointment with another one before we even left Dr.Gupta's office today.
