Dr. Starkman is absolutely THE BEST! I have diplopia (double vision) and need to wear avery thick glasses (prisms) to correct my vision. The glasses Dr. Starkman made for me are absolutely perfect. My vision is great, and my eyes are even. He takes as much time with as needed, and never rushes through an appointment. The selection of glasses is great.

I had a wonderful experience as a patient of Dr. Steven Starkman. What struck me the most was his extraordinary knowledge and willingness to work with me on finding the best solution for my astigmatism, near-sightedness and presbyopia. Unlike other optometrists, this doctor did not look at his watch, but worked with me as long as it would take to solve the problems I have encountered with getting the right pair of corrective contact lenses and glasses. And as a middle-age woman whose vision problems can be complex at times this required a caring and motivated eye care specialist. I am writing this review because I am so appreciative of the fact that this doctor is so well read in his field and was able to competently answer my questions when other optometrists, and ophthalmologists, were too rushed to address my concerns. It's plainly obvious that this man really loves his work. It comes through loud and clear in his demeanor. I've seen him several times and have found he's always in a cheerful mood and is willing to help. His assistants, Diane and Jemma, are equally attentive. I will certainly stay a patient of Dr. Starkman for many years to come. Thank you for showing utmost professionalism and fine character!
