Fairfield Medical Center's team provides efficient, compassionate, safe, high quality healthcare for patients and their families.

Story

At Fairfield Medical Center, our goal is for every patient and visitor to have a positive experience, regardless of whether their stay is just for an hour or a couple of days. We want everybody to leave our facility knowing they or their loved ones received the best care possible and to feel that they were treated as an individual – not a number.

Several affiliated groups generously assist Fairfield Medical Center. Since 1948, more than 20 TWIG groups have been formed to support the Center. Many volunteers donate their time and talents to assist patients, visitors and staff. The Volunteer Chaplain Program, formed in 1977 and comprised of area ministers, supports the spiritual needs of patients.

As a not-for-profit healthcare facility, Fairfield Medical Center is committed to providing medically necessary treatment to persons in need, regardless of their ability to pay.

That c s w Suez needs fried she works on the sixth floor in the physics ward she a trouble maker and lier and threatening and playing head games with the patients and their family and POA and etc and my niece probably involved too because she is a c s w so they probably exchanging information that is personally and etc maybe be they need investigate and lawsuit ed and;;;;;THIS PLACE IS A MESS.NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE STATE BECAUSE THIER IS SOME B.S AND ECT NONSENSE AND ECT GOING ON HERE

FMC is a great asset to the community and has always provided my family with great medical care. They are caring and always willing to go above and beyond all while providing a personal side to healthcare.

I got to fairfield med about 6 or so I go into triage to go ever everything I get back there to the nurse did her thing. She told me a doctor was going to come in and see me. At that point and time I was already in a lot of pain, the nurse said a doctor would be in. 15 minutes later a doctor comes in I explain to him what's going on and I have a big knot where i where my pants and that it hurts exstreamly back that I couldn't even let my pants even rub it well Dr. Comes in and prosseds to push so hard on that area not knowing what is going on and puts me in tears. I have a high tolance for pain. He puts me in tears tells me he will be back 20 minutes later after that and after him doing that caused me to throw up 3 times and I haven't done any of that. And then sitting in there a while longer some one else comes in and tells me to wait in the waiting area some one will come out there and put a iv in while I am sitting out in the dirty waiting room. That's not even close to being sanitary conditions to do that but back to the situation I walked out I don't go to the hospital for them to cause me more pain and then send me out to the waiting room my face is blood red and I am sweating like no other because of all the more pain :) the triage Dr cause what kind of care is that for a hospital. I will never ever go there again. If I am having a heart attack or something I will drive myself to Columbus from Logan where I live before I will ever go there and as for any one else my suggestions is to go else where. U WILL GET BETTER CARE FROM SOME WHERE ELSE BESIDE FAIRFEILD. I walked out I would much weather die than go there and be caused more pain. I really hope the hospital changes things because that is not right and it wasn't even busy. That is what really baffles me. All that said I walked out I am not going to sit around there in more pain because of the doctor pushed so hard to put a grown man in tears. And then tell him to wait. NOT RIGHT AT ALL

We''ve not always had the best experience here, but during the three days that my brother was on the 5th floor coming to the end of his battle with cancer, the staff was amazing. The nurses and aids worked so hard to make him as comfortable as possible, as well as Dr. Dunbar. And in his last day, the hospitality and respect that was show towards our family was top notch. Thank you.

If it wasn't for Fairfield Medical Center my girlfriend wouldn't be here today. I thank them very much for saving her.
