In response to the one-star reviews:
Years ago, I came to  know the team at Fairhaven Realty through my work in residential mortgage lending. Both Glo (Gloria Calderhead) and David Moody have continued to earn my respect through the years. 
Glo is certainly not the "dinosaur " described in one review. Glo makes use of modern technology, but keeps it in its place. Her main focus is on the parties involved, and technology is just one of the tools in her arsenal. I have used Glo as both a selling agent, and a buyer's agent, and, god forbid, even a dual agent, and her diligence has produced favorable results for me in all instances. She is one of the most experienced, creative and knowledgeable agents in Whatcom county. I trust her implicitly.
As for David Moody, commission-seeking is most certainly not one of his behaviors. In addition to being a successful commercial broker, David puts his heart and soul into helping many residential buyers and sellers work through challenging transactions, and is a service, not a sales person. David believes that the means is inherent in the end, and acts in accord with his intention. David works hard for his clients, not because he wants that commission, but because he believes in doing the right thing.

Pretty simple - DON'T GO WITH GLO - the head realtor at Fairhaven is a Dinosaur and doesn't know her stuff. I wouldn't take any advice from her or that business. Stear clear

My Family and I worked with David over a period of several months to find the right home for us in Bellingham. We found him to  be extremely knowledgeable about the area, very patient (we changed our mind several times about the type of home we wanted), amiable and professional. His considerable experience is evident from the first meeting to the closing, which in our case was problem free. As a foreigner unfamiliar with the process of buying homes here in the US I was impressed at the time he took to guide us through each step and explain the legal aspects of the whole transaction. He has a huge number of connections throughout the whole community and swiftly connected us to the right people when necessary. We never felt any pressure at any stage during our dealings with David and I can thoroughly, and without reservation, recommend David as a realtor. 5 stars is not sufficient!

I do not think one could find a wiser or more experienced realtor than David Moody. Every one of my dealings with him have been rewarding. Honest - hey, he will turn me away from a deal he does not think is right even if it costs him money. When I need a Whatcom County Realtor, you can bet I will always call David Moody.
