I love Fairway market. It isn't very close so I don't get there often. The thing that usually sends me there is running out of spices.  The dried shallots, according to a family member out West,  are the best she has EVER found. So I get asked for a care package every now and then. The cheese selection is amazing too. Especially if you like goat or sheep's cheese they have a great selection. And they have a great natural food selection. I've been making homemade pumpkin seed butter because I couldn't find it in stores and the online price was crazy. They were stocking it today at about half the price of online and similar prices of other high end nut butters. .

Great selection at descent prices. You definitely won't find the cheapest prices here, buy the selection is huge and the quality of the produce, meats and seafood is very good. Very good selection if you like marinated and seasoned poultry, meats and seafood.

So much quality and selection make me want to eat my way through this store. I've never seen a coffee section like this in my life. I walk by it as many times as possible to suck in a big lungful. Try the pizza in the hot food area, it's the best work lunch I've ever had! Never let them build a salad for you at the chopped salads station based on suggested combinations. Instead name items and how much of them you want one by one. If you go for lighter items, your salad will be very cheap, or go back to the deli section and find prepackaged salads for $4-$8.

So madly in love with this amazing market that has practically EVERYTHING. my favorite part was the extensive offerings from so many ethnicities. plus their hot food area is massive!

Good place to shop and get a good meal. Grab a sandwich and a drink and sit outside and enjoy the view of the Statue of Liberty. Great guality on the produce and the meats and also fresh fish.
