The Falls Church High School Orchestra Department is the largest Performing Arts Department at Falls Church High School with over 100 students enrolled in the program. There are three orchestras - Concert Orchestra, Symphonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra. Concert Orchestra is open to any student at Falls Church High School. Symphonic and Chamber Orchestras are audition only ensembles. The orchestras consistently receive superior ratings at state assessments. The orchestra department has won national competitions including first place finishes in Orlando, Williamsburg and New York City.
